Magic Park Imagineering
featuring LEGO Projects, Circuits and Robotics
Design and build popular LEGO® rides from your favorite amusement parks and Pixar® movies!
Projects include a Lightning McQueen Racer,
Wall-e Robot, Crush Turtle, Monorail Train and Spinning Tea Cups Ride! You’ll add power to your projects by building in a circuit with electronic components.
Plus, explore robotics while you program
theme park robots to move according to
code stickers and paths which you design.
What's special about this camp?
-
Five fascinating and original theme-park and character LEGO-based creations.
-
Incorporates electrical engineering concepts into projects.
-
Introduction into robotics with Ozobots.
-
Structural building projects including a fun rollercoaster using K’NEX.
Campers explore a variety of LEGO building techniques, learn how gears and motors work, and use special mechanisms and elements such as hinges. Campers power all projects by using Circuit Cube elements, such as a battery, motor and wires.
Building & Engineering Skills
Campers learn about electronics as they build power circuits to make their LEGO projects move and light up. Components used include battery, motor, wires, RGB light and switch.
Circuit Design
Intro to Robotics
Campers explore robotics by coding paths for the Ozobot mini-bot. Students learn about light and color sensors as they program speed and turn movement for robots to navigate on rides and in parades.
