Instructors

"I like getting the kids involved in technical subjects and inspiring them to build on the skills they learn."

—TechKnowHow Instructor

TechKnowHow camps feature a teaching team of a lead instructor and one or two assistant instructors. Lead instructors are often school teachers during the year, or professionals who work in the technology field. They are joined by instructors who are typically college students, working towards an education or computer science degree.

Teachers complete training, both in the specific course content which they will teach, as well as in general student interaction and camp management.

All staff undergo background checks, including fingerprinting and reference reviews.

Parents Love Our Instructors!

"Eugenie and her colleagues were fantastic. My son and his friends loved learning how to apply basic coding to LEGO builds, geeking out over Minecraft, and showing off their work at the end of camp each day."

Xavier L. - San Francisco

"This is the first time my kids rated a camp 11, from 1-10! Kathryn and Miguel are professional and approachable! Camp is so cool, fun and truly innovative and educational!"

Ricca Cathrina E. - Fremont

"The instructors, Jackie, McKenzie and Isabella were so hardworking, caring and conscientious of each child's needs. Thank you for taking such great care of our next generation of leaders! Our son can't wait to come back next year!

Steven D. - Burlingame

TechKnowHow Girl's Camp

"The class teachers were Keith and Ethan who were a ton of fun and very encouraging in their instructional styles. Their patience promoted the children's confidence by empowering them to accomplish tasks on their own via guidance. This was our first time at a TechKnowHow summer camp and we recommend it!"

Susan C. - San Francisco
